Tea tree: the medicine of the Aboriginals

The leaves of the tea tree have been used for generations by the original inhabitants of Australia, the Aboriginals. The tree was given the name 'tea tree' by the famous explorer James Cook, who brought the leaves from Australia to England and made tea from them. When the techniques came later to
obtain the oil from the leaves, tea tree oil was even used during WWII.
The many different applications of tea tree make it a real must-have in
your bathroom cabinet. Tea tree is ideal for purifying your skin and supporting
pimples and other impurities.

How to use Tea Tree essential oil

First of all, it is important to know that you should not ingest tea tree oil. It
is for external use only and because it is such a strong product, pure tea tree oil
can also irritate your skin and it is necessary to dilute it with a carrier oil, such as
almond or avocado oil. Test a drop on your skin first to
see how you react to it!
Before applying it, make sure your skin is clean so that the tea tree oil
can be absorbed properly. You can apply a few drops of oil (diluted in a carrier oil) to a cotton swab and
apply it directly to the desired area. You can also make a foot bath by dissolving 10 drops in a bowl of
warm water.
A few drops of tea tree in your shampoo can strengthen your hair and help keep it
beautiful and healthy!
