Discover the miracle cure of the ancient Egyptians and Romans
Lavender essential oil was already used thousands of years ago in areas around the
Mediterranean Sea. The ancient Egyptians embalmed bodies with it and
incorporated it into their cosmetic products. The Romans also used it as a remedy for
many different reasons, for example to support the skin and women
also wore it as a perfume to seduce men. Even now it is
the most used essential oil and this all-rounder should not be missing
in your bathroom cabinet!
Lavender oil is rich in antioxidants, which are very important to
protect your body and skin against harmful external influences and to prevent
premature skin aging. Ideal for your DIY day cream!
Lavender is also known for its soothing properties. The scent calms and
relaxes and lavender essential oil is wonderful in a massage oil. The purifying
properties of lavender essential oil also make it a remedy for
blemishes and pimples.
How to use lavender essential oil
Never use more than 0.5 - 1% essential oil and always dilute it in a carrier oil
or butter. So for example 1 gram of lavender essential oil in 100 grams of almond oil
or shea butter. Apply the oil where needed on cleansed skin.
You can also mix a few drops into your shampoo for a lovely scent
and nourished scalp!
Lavender Essential Oil is a natural product and can therefore differ
in scent per bottle.
